ai art vs real art

AI Art and Real Handmade Art: A Comparison

Question: What is the main difference between AI art and handmade art?

Answer:The biggest difference between AI art and handmade art is “creativity,” “depth of emotion,” and “the feelings and perspectives of the person who owns the artwork.”

When we talk about handmade art, such as an oil painting or drawing made by an artist, it is not just a painting or a work of art. It is the result of that artist’s artistic practice, hard work, and time. Every brushstroke, every shade of color, and every play of light in a painting created by the artist reflects their feelings and perspective. When you commission such a painting, it is not just a “purchased object,” but a reflection of a specific emotion that arose in your heart.

On the other hand, in the case of AI art, machine-generated paintings may be technically precise and beautiful, but they lack the personal connection and depth of emotion. For AI, art is merely the result of calculations and statistics, while handmade art embodies the lived experience of art in each image.

Apple vs apple flavored drink

The difference between the two is like planting an apple tree yourself, watching it grow, and then eating fresh apples from that tree. The joy, the hard work, and care you put into that tree add depth to the flavor of the tree’s fruit.

Now, if you buy an apple-flavored drink from the market, it may taste the same, but it can’t give you the same feeling as a real apple. AI art is the same—it may look good, but it lacks the personal connection and feeling of handmade art.

In this way, handmade art isn’t just a work of art, but it’s a reflection of the artist’s life, their hard work, and their soul. This is what makes it “real art.”
